BILL BACK
Jacory Croskey-Merritt •RB • WAS

Fantasy Impact
The timing matters because both Croskey-Merritt and Rachaad White have dealt with injuries. Getting Bill back onto the field improves his chances of opening the season as Washington’s primary early-down runner, while White remains a candidate for passing-down and change-of-pace work.
Fantasy Action
Restore most of the injury discount. Croskey-Merritt is again a viable late-round RB target, although official Week 1 participation remains the final checkpoint before completely removing the health concern.
Article Body
Jacory Croskey-Merritt — RB, Washington Commanders
Croskey-Merritt returned to practice Tuesday after missing roughly a week with a groin injury, putting him back on track for Washington’s Week 1 opener.
Washington had spent the offseason expanding his role after his productive rookie season, and his return gives him an opportunity to reestablish himself at the front of an unsettled backfield.
FAZE Take
Bill is back on the field, and that puts his Week 1 role back in play. The next practice reports should tell us whether Washington is simply getting him ready to play or preparing him for the larger role it envisioned this offseason.
