Biggest Fantasy Question
Can Jadarian Price Take Control Before Zach Charbonnet Returns?
Featured Player
What Happened
Seattle's backfield has been completely reopened.
Kenneth Walker III departed during the offseason, while Zach Charbonnet began camp on active/PUP as he continues recovering from the ACL injury he suffered during the playoffs.
That has created an immediate opportunity for first-round rookie Jadarian Price.
Seattle has deliberately tested Price in the passing game, and he has shown the versatility required to remain on the field in more than an early-down role. His ability to separate as a receiver and contribute out of the backfield gives the Seahawks a reason to evaluate him as a potential three-down option rather than simply a temporary replacement.
Price is competing with George Holani and Emanuel Wilson while Charbonnet remains unavailable.
The difference is that Price carries first-round draft investment, superior long-term upside and the clearest path toward becoming the player Seattle builds the backfield around.
FAZE Take
This is no longer a conventional rookie-backfield watch.
The previous starter is gone. The expected veteran replacement is recovering from a major knee injury. Price is healthy, receiving meaningful opportunities and demonstrating the exact versatility Seattle needs from its lead back.
That does not make Charbonnet irrelevant.
It does mean fantasy managers should stop assuming the backfield automatically returns to him once he is activated.
Price has a legitimate opportunity to establish ownership of the role before Charbonnet is physically able to compete for it.
FAZE Action
FAZE Watch
The next step is determining whether Price continues receiving first-team carries, passing-down work and red-zone opportunities.
If all three continue, Seattle may be evaluating him as its lead back rather than merely its healthiest back.

Biggest Fantasy Question
Is San Francisco's Fantasy Ecosystem Becoming Less Stable?
Featured Player
What Happened
The 49ers have quietly become one of the most important fantasy teams to monitor in training camp.
George Kittle remains unavailable while recovering from an Achilles injury. Ricky Pearsall is dealing with renewed knee swelling. Kyle Shanahan is still recovering from injuries suffered in an automobile accident and has not resumed his normal on-field coaching responsibilities.
Individually, none of those developments completely changes San Francisco's fantasy outlook.
Together, they create an ecosystem concern.
Kittle is one of the offense's most important middle-of-the-field and red-zone weapons. Pearsall is expected to play a meaningful role in the passing game. Shanahan remains the central architect of the entire offensive system.
San Francisco is therefore installing and evaluating its offense without several of the pieces responsible for its normal continuity.
The encouraging development has been the early connection between Brock Purdy and Mike Evans.
Evans has worked extensively with Purdy and gives San Francisco a proven perimeter receiver who can immediately command scoring-area opportunities. Christian McCaffrey remains the foundation of the offense and the player least affected by the surrounding uncertainty.
The concern is not that the 49ers suddenly lack talent.
The concern is that one of the league's most stable fantasy environments is currently operating without its normal level of health, continuity and information.
FAZE Take
This is no longer a collection of isolated injury stories.
It is an ecosystem story.
Kittle remains unavailable. Pearsall is dealing with knee swelling. Shanahan has not returned to his normal practice role.
Historically, the 49ers have also kept injury information and return timelines close to the vest. That makes daily participation reports and practice observations especially important.
Christian McCaffrey remains an elite fantasy cornerstone. The early Purdy-Evans connection is encouraging. San Francisco still possesses enough talent to support a powerful offense.
But until Kittle returns, Pearsall is fully healthy and Shanahan resumes his normal on-field responsibilities, the entire 49ers fantasy ecosystem belongs on the active FAZE Watch List.
FAZE Action
FAZE Watch
The most important developments are Kittle's return to practice, Pearsall's ability to avoid recurring swelling and Shanahan's return to normal on-field responsibilities.
San Francisco does not require a major downgrade yet.
It requires elevated observation.

Biggest Fantasy Question
Is Jeremiyah Love Actually Taking Control of the Backfield?
Featured Player
What Happened
Jeremiyah Love received the first running-back snap with Arizona's starting offense during the Cardinals' first padded practice.
That was the first meaningful on-field indication that Arizona intends to evaluate the third-overall selection at the front of the rotation rather than placing him in a protected developmental role.
It did not settle the backfield.
Arizona still has James Conner, Tyler Allgeier and Trey Benson. Each player offers a different reason to remain involved.
Conner provides trusted veteran production. Allgeier has already shown that he can handle significant NFL volume. Benson remains a talented former premium selection who has not disappeared from the team's plans.
Love must be exceptional to make the rest of the room irrelevant.
The encouraging part is that Arizona appears willing to give him the opportunity to prove that he is.
Marvin Harrison Jr. has also returned without concern after leaving an earlier practice because of cramps. His usage in heavier personnel packages continues to indicate that Arizona intends to keep him on the field regardless of formation.
Trey McBride remains another central piece of the passing game.
FAZE Take
Love receiving the first padded snap with the starters matters.
It confirms that Arizona does not view him as a player who must wait simply because the backfield contains experienced veterans.
But one opening snap does not equal a completed takeover.
The Cardinals built a deep running-back room, and the most likely early outcome remains a rotation in which first-team carries, passing-down work and goal-line opportunities are not controlled by one player.
Love's talent gives him the ability to change that.
Training camp now has to show whether he is merely leading the rotation or controlling the most valuable parts of it.
FAZE Action
FAZE Watch
The next question is not whether Love receives another opening snap.
It is whether Arizona consistently places him on the field when the touches are most valuable.

Biggest Fantasy Question
Is Stafford's Managed Schedule Preservation or a Warning?
Featured Player
What Happened
Matthew Stafford has received scheduled rest days as part of a predetermined training-camp workload plan.
When Stafford has practiced, the results have been encouraging.
He has shown timing, rhythm and command while connecting with Puka Nacua and Davante Adams. The Rams have continued describing the arrangement as a preservation plan designed to have Stafford physically prepared for Week 1 rather than a response to a newly reported injury.
That distinction matters.
Scheduled rest is not automatically negative information, especially for an older quarterback whose team already knows exactly what he can do.
The important evidence is how Stafford performs when active.
Thus far, there has been no obvious loss of timing, arm effectiveness or control of the offense.
Nacua remains the engine of the passing game. Adams gives Stafford another receiver capable of winning immediately in scoring territory. Kyren Williams continues to lead the backfield without clear evidence that Los Angeles is moving toward a true committee.
FAZE Take
The Rams remain the most stable fantasy ecosystem in the division.
Stafford's schedule appears designed to preserve him, not protect him from a newly revealed problem.
The concern would begin if Stafford unexpectedly misses a scheduled practice, experiences discomfort or looks physically diminished when participating.
None of those conditions has been established.
For now, the Rams are managing a veteran quarterback exactly as a veteran quarterback should be managed.
FAZE Action
FAZE Watch
Monitor Stafford's effectiveness when active, Nacua and Adams' red-zone usage and whether the Rams begin giving Corum enough first-team work to change the backfield projection.

Falcons Quarterback Situation Suddenly Becomes One of Camp's Biggest Storylines
Atlanta opened training camp without either of its top two quarterbacks fully available.
Tua Tagovailoa is dealing with a back flare-up that has limited his participation, while Michael Penix Jr. continues working his way back from ACL rehabilitation and has not yet returned to full football activity.
Neither development appears to significantly threaten Week 1 by itself.
Together, however, they create uncertainty for one of the league's more intriguing offenses.
For now, Drake London, Bijan Robinson and Kyle Pitts do not require meaningful fantasy downgrades, but Atlanta's passing ecosystem deserves closer monitoring until Tua resumes full participation and Penix's recovery timeline becomes clearer.
Fantasy Impact: Moderate to High
Tank Dell Avoids PUP in Major Recovery Milestone
One of the most encouraging injury developments of training camp came in Houston.
Tank Dell avoided the active PUP list as he continues working his way back from the devastating knee injury that ended his 2024 season and sidelined him throughout 2025.
Avoiding PUP does not guarantee Dell will immediately return to a full workload.
It does, however, represent an important milestone in his recovery and significantly improves the outlook for his availability entering the regular season.
Fantasy Impact: Positive
FAZE Take
Atlanta's quarterback situation is now one of the league's most important developing storylines because it affects the stability of an entire fantasy offense.
Houston's news moves in the opposite direction.
Tank Dell's recovery is progressing well enough that fantasy managers can begin focusing on his role and workload rather than wondering whether he will be available at all.

FINAL FAZE TAKE
Featured Players
Final FAZE Take
The most actionable NFC West movement belongs to Seattle.
Jadarian Price has a genuine opportunity to take control of a backfield that lost its previous starter and opened camp without its expected veteran replacement. His receiving usage raises his ceiling beyond that of a temporary early-down fill-in.
San Francisco remains the division's most powerful fantasy ecosystem, but it has also become the division's most important team to monitor.
George Kittle remains unavailable. Ricky Pearsall is dealing with knee swelling. Kyle Shanahan has not resumed his normal on-field responsibilities while recovering from an automobile accident.
None of those developments independently destroys the offense.
Together, they reduce the stability surrounding a team fantasy managers are accustomed to trusting.
Christian McCaffrey remains the foundation. The early Brock Purdy-Mike Evans connection is encouraging. But the entire 49ers fantasy ecosystem belongs on active watch until the offense becomes healthier and Shanahan returns to his normal role.
Arizona has provided its first meaningful clue about Jeremiyah Love's position in the backfield.
The rookie is not being hidden behind the veterans, but the room remains too talented and crowded to declare a completed takeover.
Los Angeles remains the stable ecosystem.
Stafford looks healthy when practicing. Nacua and Adams are already integrated. Williams remains the lead back.
The NFC West currently offers four very different fantasy situations:
Seattle has the fastest-rising opportunity.
San Francisco carries the most important developing risk.
Arizona has the most complicated backfield.
Los Angeles remains the most stable offense.
